From the vibrant international food stalls at SNLH, where students and teachers enjoyed flavors from around the world, to traditional games that had both UPM students and our teachers laughing and bonding—every moment was unforgettable. Many students commented on the excitement of trying new foods, while others spoke about the thrill of games they’d never played before.

But the experience didn’t stop there. We had the honor of witnessing the graceful “betel invitation,” a beautiful gesture reflecting Vietnamese hospitality. “I didn’t expect to be invited with betel leaves—it was such a unique way to feel welcomed!” said Linh from Grade 11.

A Show of Unity in Diversity

One of the most captivating moments was the “Unity” dance performance by students from Malaysia. This beautiful dance showcased the spirit of Malaysia’s cultural diversity while emphasizing the universal theme of unity and connection. “Seeing their traditional dance made me appreciate how powerful shared values are,” remarked Thuy from Grade 10, adding, “It was inspiring to watch how our cultures connect, even in their differences.”
